Accessibility Statement for greengirl.store
Our Mission: An Experience for All Earthlings
Here at Green Girl, our intergalactic mission is to share unique designs from another world with all inhabitants of Planet Earth. We believe our art and apparel should be accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or how they choose to browse the vast expanse of the internet.
Our team of extraterrestrial experts (and their human collaborators) is committed to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable digital experience on greengirl.store. We are continuously observing human web standards and making improvements to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, a set of recommendations for making web content more accessible.
Our Efforts to Enhance Accessibility
While our native technology is light-years ahead, we've done our best to adapt to your current Earth-based systems. Here's what we're doing:
-
Navigational Clarity: We've designed our site to be navigated logically, both with a mouse and with keyboard-only commands (using the 'Tab' key).
-
Text and Contrast: We aim for clear, readable text and sufficient color contrast, though our love for neon green can sometimes be a challenge. We are monitoring this to ensure our designs are both vibrant and legible.
-
Alternative Text for Images: All our product images and key visuals include "alt text" descriptions. This way, even if an image fails to load (a common issue with primitive human internet), or for users employing screen readers, the content of the image is still understood.
-
A Consistent Experience: We strive to maintain a consistent and predictable layout across our site, making it easier for all beings to find what they're looking for.
Feedback from Your Planet
We are always learning about human customs and technologies. If you encounter any difficulty accessing any part of our site, or if you have suggestions on how we can improve, please let us know. Your feedback is a valuable data point in our ongoing study of Earth.
You can contact our human liaison team via our Contact page. Please provide the specific web page (URL) and a description of the issue you've encountered.
